The Truth Doesn’t Exist: Why Every Spiritual Story Is Real
Exploring consciousness, human experience and the soul’s many narratives – where your truth is the one you live.
What is the meaning of life? We all want to know. But here’s what I’ve come to understand: there is no single answer, no final truth. The “truth” does not exist. Rather, there are multiple "spiritual" truths, each shaped by our own experience of the meaning of life and consciousness. What you live is your personal narrative - as spirit and in body - and those are the ones that matter.
We often look to the beginning to try to understand. We know, somehow, consciousness arose. A singular consciousness? what we might call God or Source or The Universe? maybe. Or did multiple consciousnesses appear? also possible. The fact is, we do not know. If you were to ask consciousness itself, it almost certainly could not tell you how it came into being. It simply is. We must move on from this part - it takes us nowhere.
What we do know is that we exist. The “why” of it is the next big question. Within our reality, there are many narratives to explain our existence. Within these various narratives, conveniently, there are answers. Embracing one narrative means dismissing the rest. It’s so very human of us.
Of course, I have my own perspective. I do my best to maintain my neutrality, but like anyone, I can only understand what I understand – not that my understanding is truth, but that it’s my truth, for now. I believe in what I call the “psychic field” – a neutral way of describing the energetic/spiritual world. The psychic field, as I perceive it, allows people to experience being in their own way.
A human being is merely a focused portion of a spirit, made manifest in the material. Here in this dense physical reality, we have time and emotions, personalities. It may not seem special to us – life often feels difficult - but anyone who gazes into the psychic field knows these things are unique to our reality. For our spirits, this place is so very exciting.
One day, I was moving from my reading chair to my desk – five steps away - when suddenly, I was out of my body, after death, soaring into the aether. I was freee! but then, (like that ding-dong, Lot’s wife), I looked back … and I felt it. The pull of emotions, physical sensations and time. This reality hit me like a drug. I wanted to go“just one more time.” And then – two steps later – I was back at my desk. I will never forget the power physical reality had over me in that moment.
I also now know souls have their own narrative, just as humans do. And they can’t agree on a single truth, either.
Take my friend, Alice. She passed recently. She was a healer who worked with Archangel Michael and Orion and believed in the Galactic Federation. I didn’t share those beliefs, but when I read for her, I saw what she saw. Once, Orion came through so clearly, I actually began fangirling. Another time, Metatron appeared though at the time, I had no idea who he was. Did I adopt Alice’s narrative? No. But I stepped into it, and while I was there, it was all very real. Alice was confident in her purpose, and I began to realize that “truth” is iffy stuff.
Another time, I had a client who had, in another age, been a powerful warlock. As that era ended, he went into hiding to avoid persecution. In this life, he’s a software developer, but the warlock-self still shapes his decisions. That story – his truth – drives his path now.
And then, there’s my Warrior Angel of God friend. We met in a public forum, arguing fiercely about the man-Jesus. It got so heated, we took it to the DMs, became friends, and eventually, he told me his story: he had loved humanity so much that he asked to come here as a human, was granted permission, and arrived on Earth.
I’d heard stories like this before and, honestly, I thought, cool story, bro. But then, he offered to let me look at his energy – and holy hell – there it was: Warrior Angel. He has one of the most extraordinary spirit forms I’ve ever seen. And yet, I still don’t believe in God. I’ve seen too many narratives to believe any one of them is “true.”
Instead, I understand that all are true – true to the one living them. Our human lives are simply continuations of our spirit’s story.
And that means we are free. We can drop the story we’re living and create a new one, if we choose. Your own life story - as human, as spirit, as both - is yours to rewrite at any time.
This is always my point: YOU are the creator. There’s no single truth, only multiple truths, each real for the one living it. That’s the beauty of human experience and awareness: you get to decide what it is for you. You’re totally cool just as you are, even if you don’t know it.
So ... what’s your story? Feel free to drop it in the comments below. :)
Remember: freedom is yours. Every narrative you live is real for you, and you have the power to rewrite your story.
But here’s the thing - choosing a new story is just the start. Actually changing the habits, reactions, and old patterns that keep you tied to your past selves? That’s the hard part.
Next week, we’ll explore why change is so tricky, why humans are so dramatic, and a few ways to start breaking the loops - both the human habits and the soul-level tendencies - that keep us stuck.

I was having a very similar conversation with a friend on this topic and echoed similar sentiment😂 truly amusing to read on here
Isn't it awesome when we think or say something out of the norm, then see or hear it elsewhere? 21st century algorithms are gonna bet wild ... ;)
